Hello folks, and thanks for sticking with me. I wanted to give you a quick update on where the military pack is at by posting a small battlemap using (almost) nothing but the military pack. The road and crashed cars are from The Wastes, which isn't out, but everything else is from this new pack.

This maps is 20x20, at 128 pixels. It's probably too small to be useful, but you can maximize it and pan around to see what new objects and assets are included.

The outer wall of this military base entrance is protected by large concrete blast barriers. You'll find knocked over versions of these, which help to set a scene (and show how tall they are).

Beyond that, there is a barbed wire fence. It's made using paths, as well as objects for the broken portion. The shadow is not built in, but you can add it using special shadow paths.

The guard shack uses a new corrugated wall type, sliding window portal, and guard post desk. Just north of the shack you'll see two traffic arms, which tilt down to block cars (unless they ram through them!) Not shown is the lowered version.

The front gate here was once guarded by a Stryker ICV. It comes in clean and aged versions, and is not yet complete.

On the right side, I've put down a few logs with path-ropes. Logs, believe it or not, are quite important for depicting military bases. You can build obstacle courses, decorative barriers  and low cost parking stops.

On the far left, near the break in, muddy tire tracks cut through the new 'manicured' style grass. It comes in standard, mower-line and dead grass versions, so don't worry if its too saturated for your tastes. Height-blended mud can be added as a new terrain type.

There are a lot of warehouse assets in the upper left corner. Pallets, old and new, Meals Ready to Eat, ammo cans and a pallet jack are all included. The pack now has an M-4, with and without a magazine, and an M249. The shipping container isn't yet complete. I'm working out the bugs in its colorable settings, which is why you'll see some red artifacts.

I do intend to include some more futuristic assets, too, don't worry.

As of now, the pack only has 78 assets, which seems a little low for an early release, but if you need these for a current project, let me know. Otherwise, I'd like to get enough material to allow you to make a full building before moving forward.

A note about the Stryker: It is rendered from a model I've been working on over the years, so it isn't quite complete. I'm probably going to add more linework to help match the style of the other objects, and the final version should include the .50 cal turret on top, as well as hatches that can be made to appear open.
