It had always been difficult to get a job where I worked and that's because of its unique way of working. Hardly anyone ever left. Each morning when we clock in we are assigned a task-based upon our skills and previous key performance indicators, however, the earlier you clocked in the better as all the good jobs are assigned to the early ones. After clocking in we walked through a booth with a tunnel attached to it where the equipment needed is assigned to each of us. One of the best days at work was when new starters came, but as I said it was difficult to get a job so it didn't happen often. But today was one of the few occasions where new starters were beginning their journey with the company.

I was going to be Toby’s trainer. The training was very different at our place. You see when your assigned a task for the day and you walk through the tunnel, you're given the equipment needed for the day; well, the main equipment is the body needed for the day. Each day your given a new task and the body most spirited to that task is given to you. That is what the tunnel is for. Toby would in about 15 minutes know everything he needed to know as he would be given a body for the day. He would be getting mine, and I would be getting his. I explained that he would end up in my current body, he would go home tonight with it, lead it's life and tomorrow when he came back he would be given a new body. It was rare to return to your original body and you didn't get a repeated body for at least 100 days.

Toby said he had heard about this and has been waiting for a very long time to get a job here. He was most looking forward to the weekend and he hoped he would land a really good looking body for the days off, or at least one with a lot of money.

Of course, it was Friday today and I was going to be enjoying Toby’s body for the next 3 nights.
