Do slave collars have a tier? It just feels weird that any random collar can suppress Zach that easily without him being able to force the suppression back. Especially with his perks for soul defense

Yeah, like a tier 3 slave master shouldn't be able to enslave a tier 5 or higher person, especially if one has soul defenses. I would understand if the person who made the slave collar was near the end of their focus, but someone at Zach's level should be able to break out of the collar with little damage.

In most stories collars suppress magic/aura or essence in this case, which would be tiered, so far they have only focused on soul defenses. He will likely end up using his will on the flaws or developing a new skill for it.
