I was kind of hoping that Reyla would live longer. But makes sense. But from that attack, it makes it seem that we lost mortals and immortals from the start of this. Which is going to make uniting everyone harder. No one who is immortal is going to be thrilled with True Death being an option. The Empire being broken definitely raises expectations on what happens in the core. The Empire was at least united in hate. The Core was so divided that it would have been an easier fight there
