I think, in a previous chapter it was already mention, that the empire uses slavery on a big scale. Would be interesting to know, if slavery is one of the reasons why the empire has survived and became so powerful. Maybe the Citadel of Sands or the Eastern Gate could only be built because of slaves? The egyptian pyramids stands even today, and we know who really built them. Ryun and Erdania both distastes slavery, how will they react to it?
