Am i the only person that doesn't think Zach should ever be as powerful as ryun? Putting aside all the stat bonus from titles that should guarantee him being stronger that way I thought the whole point of cultivators is that they start weaker and have a much harder time growing but because of that they end stronger which is why their clans are guarded by 1 powerful cultivator that can keep classes at Bay.

Maybe they are all equals and I came to the wrong conclusion. But if that's true why bother with cultivation that takes not only more effort and leaves you vulnerable for much longer but also takes much more resources to become powerful with recycling essence and getting a good element and place to absorb it to name a few. Why bother with all that if you don't end up stronger.

I am split: On the one hand I do want zach to be relevant to the story and for that he needs to have at least some higher level of personal power. On the other hand I do not want him to rival ryun, or at least not as in: by zachs own accomplishments. If its acknowledged that zach had quite some out side help compared to ryuns often mentioned genius than it is fine for me, if zach reaches a comparable level. Although I do think that in the long run ryun will always "outleve" zach

Probably unpopular opinion but it never feels like Zach deserves the power ups he gets as he seems to stumble into situations that end up offering him specifically what he needs. I really don’t want to see him end up equal to Ryun.

Same feeling here. I long ago stopped liking Zach as a character for this exact reason. He seems to get the same kinds of huge rewards Ryun does with none of the risk or sacrifice. Ryun fights monsters way beyond his level, entire armies, other people with huge resources at their disposal... Zach beats up a bunch of mid level bandits, with help, and seems to get the same amount of essence? And better equipment? Zach honestly feels less like a ranker than the girls Ryun has trained up. How does he even deserve a rare class more than the people who fought alongside Ryun in life or death battles constantly? Because he got some world first titles that were basically handed to him by Ryun? Not fair at all.

I cant wait for zach to grow so powerful that he can stomp ryun into the ground and make him feel even a tenth of what zach felt

The requirements for this strong evolution feels more like doing chores than zac actually struggling to achieve it. The only thing that might bring difficulty is surviving in a t6 high tier plane. And for that be can just find armor. I hope the next evolutions zac has to struggle

Yeah that seems very unlikely. While Zach is catching up and has some bonuses like his partner and the wardens to help him Ryun is doing all of this on his own, for the most part. Plus it’s been stated a few times that Ryun is just a natural cultivator he instinctively understands a lot of things that others, like Zach, have to spend a lot of time to learn and achieve. Combine his solo leveling experience with his natural understanding and it is almost guaranteed that he will always be better than Zach.

Yea it does seem a little tedious and time consuming and not really that far fetched. Doesn't seem like it'll be that difficult but more time consuming than anything. But then again maybe the dragons will be good fights.

Agree, but the Zach character lost me at the start when he hung his man Ryun out to dry and chose hoes (Linda) before bros in the beginning. Zach has been a jealous whiny man since then and Forrest Gumped his way to power versus Ryun.
