Jungle River (Patreon)

The air is hot and wet. The ground is by turns muddy and full of sand that drags at your ankles. Steam rises off the jungle in the early morning, carrying the sweet smell of Orchids and Waterlilies. You’ve marched for days, but finally reached the bank of the Great River. The shadowed canopy of trees opens up and you can see the sky, but also the churning waters before you; dark and deep and as full of danger as the jungle at your back.

I’m quite proud of how this map turned out!

The full set comes with 18 variations, with different styles of riverbanks and some fun visual elements for encounters. Including Hippo Hazards! Does a river full of Hippos qualify as difficult terrain? Or deadly terrain?

These maps are set on a 24 x 44 grid. You can download maps with or without the grids. The VTT files are Jpgs, at 140 dpi (3360 x 6160 pixels).
