Merfolk Council (Patreon)

Far beneath the roaring waves, hidden in a circle of coral, the Merfolk meet in council. Faction leaders debate trade, and justice, and diplomacy with the “world above”. Each representative has a podium made of interior shell chitin. The table is made of pearl. Around the council massive stone towers with gardens of coral rise in spirals, protecting the sunken chamber from wild currents.

I struggled with this piece quite a bit. I wanted to make something that wasn’t just a replica of human council chambers, but would work with the environment and anatomy of Merfolk. I think it turned out pretty well in the end! ^_^

This set has 3 different council podium arrangements. The original council, a small council, and a council around the edge of the coral towers. The set comes with 16 variations. Some of which have Day & Night versions.

These maps are set on a 34 x 55 grid. You can download maps with or without the grids. The VTT files are Jpgs, at 140 dpi (4760 x 7700 pixels).
