The Harvest Throne (Patreon)

The air is turning colder, the wheat is being threshed, and it's time to feed the old gods. Harvest, in another word. On the edge of the fields waits a throne carved from the stump of a knotted tree. The wealth laid before it is not hard, unforgiving metal, but the gold of turning leaves. Flags are strung up to celebrate, and scarecrows stand sentry on wooden spikes. The old one will bless our fields, and make our harvest plentiful so we'll be warm and fed through the winter, but we must feed them in return. Shush children, don't cry, the old one is generous. Feeding them is an honor. Now come and stand before the scythe, and let's roll the dice.

There are options with the throne set on the edge of a wheat field, or in the woods. There's a bloody tree for those Sleepy Hollow vibes, and a whole separate field of wheat with lurking scarecrows!
