Summer shot! (Patreon)

If someone asked me what I would least expect from Finland (other than being able to move here), I would say that the last thing I would expect is that it can get pretty darn hot here!

As recently as a couple weeks ago, around May 9, if memory serves me correctly, we had the most snowfall here. And in some areas that aren't much further north than my current location, I managed to catch snow just a week ago!

However, the sun has been shining non-stop for quite some time (several weeks) here! And that's with sunrise starting at 3:57am and sunset at 10:23pm! Such hot weather (especially when you don't have air conditioning), it's very tempting to go swimming in the sea! The Baltic Sea is only a few kilometers away. Last year I was able to swim in this sea twice - and both times it was bloody cold. But the heat is not letting up, so I have to try my luck and get into these icy waters to at least take a little break from the heat!
