Monika was not thinking of appearing on the show at first, but then the producers talked about dancers and dance as an occupation not being able to get the spotlight and recognition, and she felt as a senior in the industry, she needed to get out there and make dance and dancers more known. She also mentioned that is why she, and others, over acted or tried to make the show more provocative, so more of the general public, not just ppl interested in dance, will watch.
