The results of the polliana + a look into the future + some extra lovin FOR THE BESTIES! (Patreon)

First and foremost I thought I made the polliana exclusively to yall, then I was wondering why I had so many votes and I realized it was public! I’m sorry frenns, I want poll votes to only be for YALL! Just so you know any polls, wips, any behind the scenes type stuff is only meant y’all and I will be sure to double check that only my patrons can see it! I want to make sure you all know your opinions and requests and ideas and everything matter to me and I will be extra dilligent to ensure those types of posts are only for you in the future!!! ♥️

Anyway…

1) So clearly soul food won the polliana! Which I’m excited for and have been playing around with NEW plates just for the stall. Since BBQ was second, I’m gonna try and add some of those foods as well since they fit well together. I’d be lying if I said it’d be ready by the time the pack drops, but it will come for sure. It will be called “The Soul Kitchen” stall, and the texture is done!

2) I have a new custom stall coming within the next couple days (probably tmrw)! I tweeted about it prematurely and thought it was ready last week, but it kept crashing. But I fixed it 😎 and have been testing it and it’s working flawlessly and it’s so cute lol. I’ll give you a hint: it’s a top tier mall food spot and my favorite thing to get there are the pizza flavors but cinnamon sugar hits too 👀👀👀👀

3) I’ve been updating all my past stall overhauls, from oldest (Domino’s) to newest (Filipino)I have yet to test them all fully, but so far everything looks good. I added something I’ve always wanted to the food stalls and can’t wait to show y’all, it’ll be perfect for a Growing Together family outing and is a “quality of life” improvement to the stalls. That will be this month too. These will all be available to y’all in bulk download when they’re ready (also coming HELLA soon) and I’ll make them exclusive for a week or two so you guys can let me know of any bugs before I make it public :)

4) I’m reviewing the request post periodically, so don’t forget to tell me if there’s something you want for a stall, recipe, object or whatever!

5) #weeatinnn will be back in full effect with a new set of recipes dropping this Sunday! I’m still deciding a theme, honestly it might just be the recipes I’m most excited about so don’t expect them all to make sense together because they might not 😂😂

6) I didn’t forget about the high chairs! But listen girl we might have to scrap it we’ll see when the update comes lol

I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOU ALL! Thank you for putting up with my mess and being a part of my little corner of the sims community. I pride myself on making sure Black life & experience are represented in this game with my food, as it’s such a HUGE part of our culture, while also recognizing the intersectionality of Black life and experience with other cultures as well.

I would not be doing any of this cc food stuff if it weren’t for you all’s kindness and genuine excitement and love for what foods I make because I know you all see yourselves or cultures in them, and I know how it feels to not only make sims look like you, but have them eat the same foods you did growing up (or still eat now!) that is exactly how the cookbook was born, I wanted to have my sims eat like me and my family so I could properly tell my story, and help you all tell yours.

I really want y’all to know that you have gotten me thru some hard times both financially and mentally within the past 1.5 years and it means the world to me, and I have enormous amounts of gratitude and respect for you all, and I can’t say it enough but THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH fi all the love you have given me these last couple years ♥️

anyway I’m a little tipsy (I’m off the next 5 days!!) so I’m not gonna start crying on here but I’ll see you guys soon when I drop some HEAT!!
