If I recall correctly, Mina wasn’t born pink. Her skin became pink as a result of her body adapting to her acid, similar to how todoroki’s skin learned to be resistant to cold and hot for when he uses his power.

Pertaining to Montana's question of why some people look outrageous but it's unrelated to their quirk, the author explained it a while ago. Like Kenny said, an ancestor would have had a mutant quirk, and their physical features passed onto their descendant but not their quirk - for example, Tokoyami has a bird head because somebody in his lineage had a bird quirk. He received their physical feature, but not their bird quirk.

Throwback genes are totally a thing; like with Quirklessness, it could be categorized into physically Quirkless, and biologically Quirkless, and Midoriya would be physically Quirkless, having no actual quirk but his green hair and eyes probably being throwback genes, like All Might's height. Biologically Quirkless people would have no throwback genes OR actual quirk.

There's different categories of quirks and one is Mutant types, the ones who's bodies are severally altered from the basic human body plan. Basically if Eraserhead could look at them and they wouldn't lose the feature (though they might lose some of the benefits), its part of a mutant type quirk. (Though sometimes people have very minor manifestations of their quirk, like Kiroshima's teeth, or Ida's leg engines that I don't think qualify as mutant type. And there's people who have multiple quirks (mutant and some other one) like Tokoyami who just happens to have a bird head and also shadow powers. Its a whole mess lol)

You nailed it. There's actually quite a big difference between the two in hero society, but that's super late in the manga where they go into all that. We'll probably get that in 2 seasons.

I think another thing to consider about the difference between Tomura and Overhaul is where the loyalties lie in the individual members. Really, if you look at the League, they were all recruited to be led by Tomura. Magne clearly had never met AFO before at Camino. Kurogiri, on the other hand, is much more loyal to AFO personally. The Shie Hassaikai have a similar dynamic going on. the Eight Bullets are Overhaul's close circle. They are loyal to him. The rest of the gang is just biding their time because he has the power right now. He doesn't have their loyalty, he's just scary enough that they haven't done anything to him yet.

The other League members hadn’t met AFO in person, but they knew who he was and heard him on the TV in the bar. They joined with the understanding that Shigaraki was going to be the next ruler of the Japanese underworld and that he wanted to destroy hero society which they agreed with. That’s why they agreed to follow him, however unlike Overhaul AFO is more than capable of bringing the League over to his side because getting people to follow him is his specialty

You’re either Quirkless or you’re not. Having green hair or being really tall are just regular inherited genetics. All Might and Deku are both confirmed to be biologically quirkless an important plot point later. Tokoyami would be an example of someone who inherited part of a heteromorphic quirk that’s unrelated to his Dark Shadow quirk
