Before this episode, had you guys wondered about why the townsfolk generally don't seem to realize/talk about all the strange things happening in Gravity Falls? Do you feel like this explanation is a good one and how do you feel like this affect everyone going foreword?

(There's a chance my question won't come across as serious or relevant at first glance, so I'm adding this disclaimer to assure you that it's a legit question.) [~Question~] Are you familiar with the Adult Swim animated series Rick & Morty? This episode of Gravity Falls has a "blink and you miss it" moment that connects it with a S1 episode of Rick & Morty. (Video link included at the end) How do you feel about things like Easter eggs, shared continuities, and crossovers in media? Do you think they're a fun and unique way to interact with the audience (and possibly pull in new fans), or do you think it takes away from the creativity of an IP by focusing on another franchise? (If you're interested in seeing for yourself, this is a 20-second clip featuring relevant scenes from Gravity Falls 2x7 and Rick & Morty 1x10. The video has no spoilers, but you should avoid the YouTube comments). https://youtu.be/821TmxO95iE?si=ebksLmvdFyQslY1E

This is my favorite episode! I love the element of taking a character we've so far only seen as a gag and giving him a tragic backstory and plot relevance. How does learning more about McGucket affect your theories regarding the author? How does it fit into the show's wider theme of things never being what they seem?

Since the Society likely has memories of nearly everyone in the whole town, is there any other townsperson whose memories you wish you could view? Also, do you think there's anyone (other than Dipper and Mabel) you think they didn't ever get? Soos? Wendy? Stan?
