Are you guys planning on watching the Gravity Falls shorts that came out between seasons 1 and 2? The compilations are short enough that you could watch them in a single video. They're called "Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained" and "Mabel's Guide to...", and both of them were actually uploaded YouTube by Disney Channel.

So at the end of each end credits for each episode there was a code to decipher, some are jokes and some are interesting, but I thought you guys should know that this episode's code was "BILL IS WATCHING" and the code for the first episode was "STAN IS NOT WHAT HE SEEMS" Nothing spoilerly, just a fun thing they included in the show for fans, they do something similar in season 2

Not only was there a one year gap between the first season finale and the second season premiere, Alex Hirsch was so unhappy with his relationship with Disney, that he seriously considered quitting the show and not making season 2. Dipper and Mabel getting on the bus and leaving town was created, in part, in the event that he decided to quit. Thankfully, he decided to continue with the show and the shorts were released as production on season 2 continued.

Not sure how this goes with your recording schedule but the grav ity falls shorts seem to fit between seasons 1 and 2 just so I have said it and can now forget about it.

gravity falls is one of the shows known for it's excruciating wait time between seasons and even episodes. 364 days after season 1 finale did we get s2. Not to mention the waits between episodes, literal months between episodes and the season 3 finale is separated into three episodes so people literally started the finale and literally had to wait over 80 days for part 2 and part 3 of the finale 😭😭 one of the famous hiatuses in cartoon history
