The Gawain (though just a prototype) is probably the most technologically advanced Knightmare Frame we have seen so far with the Lancelot and the Guren trailing just a bit behind. This frame probably would be the GOAT if it did have a transporting beam that Kenny had speculated during this episode LOL. It is interesting when you have supernatural elements mixed with a mecha anime.

The Gawain is named for Sir Gawain, who, according to legend and like Lancelot, was one of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. Historically, it's thought that he was an earlier Welsh legendary character who was incorporated into Arthurian Legend. On another point which I don't know if it's true but is very entertaining, it's been suggested that as tales of King Arthur circulated outside England, Lancelot started off as basically a "fanfic Mary Sue character" (the French guy who just walks in, is super-cool and out-fights everybody, and is studly enough to get the king's wife in his bed) who, through generations of retelling, became a central part of the mythos.

I love it when you start looking at a character you thought you understood in another angle! My advice is to do a little less comparing Lelouch to Light! Because although they seem like twins on the surface, I think you’ll be shocked on just how different the two really are!
