Chobit

LettsReact

We will post the reaction here! We will watch it soon, probz in a month or so!

brina_kitten

Enmu (Lower One) is a guy. He's just very gender non-comforming.

Sade West

You should watch season 2 not just the MUGEN train by itself season 2 has more

Gestrid

The ending to this season was SO GOOD, and then we had to wait TWO WHOLE YEARS for the movie to come out in the US while having to hear how freaking amazing the movie was when it came out in other countries! (It came out in Australia, New Zealand, and a good bit of Asia up to six months—but it felt MUCH longer—before it came out in the the Americas.)

Jinchuriki87

One more episode and then it's Mugen train time!!!! This is honestly my favorite all time movie right now, so I'm so excited to see y'all's reactions to it!!!

Riddix

(SPOILER FREE) I know A THOUSAND people have most likely said this already, but I'm gonna say it too. In my opinion, this is the watch order you should go through for the next season: 1) S2 E1: The Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku 2) Mugen Train MOVIE 3) (IF DESIRED) S2 Episodes 2-7 (then the rest of season 2 obviously) The movie's visuals are much more defined due to the INTENSE amount of budget they poured into it, but the episodes themselves include a few extra special scenes during them, which give us more insight into the characters in the movie. It's not a lot of new scenes, but it's just enough to be considered worthy enough to watch through. Plus, you get to hear the Taisho Era Secret after each episode! These are just my thoughts :)

Darthwin Wright

I think he did have a bit of a soft spot for Rui since he seemed to allow him to make his own demon family and that would go against his usual desire for Demons to not work together.

Ashley Garcia

Kenny: “oh this must be her blood demon art.” Montana: “CONSTRUCTION.” Lmaoo sooo excited for y’all to start mungen train and season 2. Also I’m so happy to hear you’re going to watch Your Name cause that movie issss phenomenal. I also highly reccomend A Silent Voice after those!

Corey _

please watch the movieee

Amaya Mix

i would say watch the first episode of season 2 and then the movie!!

Jacob Young

Absolutely not. Stop. Season 2 is same but has cliffhangers .🤷🏼‍♂️ Plus less animation to due less budget since it ain’t a movie just a season .

Jacob Young

Can’t wait for the movie , actually okay with you all doing first episode of season 2 before the movie , it fits well before or after so :)

Sade West

Literally there is extra scenes and then they just play the movie for the rest of the arc

JClare

Agreed! Then you can get helpful background information about a character and see the EPIC new intro song/sequence for the season, which you won't get to see if you only watch the movie (movie doesn't include the new intro sequence, and honestly, season 2's is maybe my favorite!). After watching Season 2 Episode 1, then you can go straight to the movie.

Mekar

Lower One is a male demon. There's respectful and there's trying too hard and this is definitely trying too hard. It's okay to call the dude that's clearly a dude a dude. Also "Lower One" is in reference to his rank as 1st among the Lower Ranks. All of the 12 Kizuki can be referred to with this system. Rui was Lower Five before Giyu killed him.

Geass Revolution

Mugen Train actually cinched the highest grossing spot. It is the number 1 highest grossing Japanese film. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_Japanese_films

Karsten Hase

Oh pls this is not trying to hard, lower 1 can easily pass as a female with a lower voice "hell i thought he was a woman for like a year or so" cant see any "try harding" in a genuine hang up like; well She or he i really cant tell right now" (like wheres that hard trying its so genuine and natural) ...but why do u seem offendet by it? by the fact someone was inclusive in his confusion ?

Bandit

Idk if you guys caught it but they do give a glimpse of the power level between the demons. Muzan said “for 100 ranks the upper ranks have remain unchanged, while the lower have not” meaning the upper ranks have not been killed.

Mekar

I am not offended at all. Weird assumption. I'm pointing out that tripping over yourself this much in the off chance the guy might not want to be called a guy, especially with Japanese culture where that's far less likely, makes you look really silly. Do it like once or twice if you're confused then just say "I'm gonna call them this and hope it's right" then figure it out after the video. That's a way to handle it if you really are focused on inclusivity and I think that's a fine thing to do. I don't think it's fun to watch someone who can't form a sentence whenever they try to talk about a particular character because they're too worried about offending someone.

Sean Nissen

Then don't watch if it's not fun. You don't need to make every opinion of yours public.

Mekar

I don't make every opinion of mine public, thanks. I chose to make this criticism public though because I think it would improve the content. You are free to disagree, as you clearly do, but that does not have any effect on the validity of my opinion.

Cornelius Ukena

I know there are a lot of opinions about move vs ep 2-7. Some thoughts to consider. Watching the movie means condensing a lot of content down into just one or two releases instead of six releases. Obviously most viewers just want you to catch up with them and this makes it happen more quickly. I get this impulse, I'm so ready to see your two's reactions to the upcoming story. That said, Demon Slayer works as a series—the pacing means you spend more time considering the characters and their actions and season 1 showed this. There's something to be said about pacing yourself and savoring the journey. Regardless, the movie and ep 2-7 are virtually identical. Technically there is slightly more in the episodes but you'd be hard pressed to catch them and you're going to enjoy the story either way. Most people either: A.) Watched the movie THEN episode 1 (this actually works very well) B.) Watched episodes 1-7 in order (again works perfectly fine) Personally, I think just sticking with the episodes is an overall better experience, but you guys should def just do whatever vibes with you.

Daphne Wang

SO EXCITED FOR MUGEN TRAIN!!! Also, I feel like an important point about the difference between Muzan and Ubuyashiki (demon slayer leader) is the difference in ego and insecurity. Muzan is incredibly self absorbed and insecure, to the point where anyone weak that represents him or questions him offends him DEEPLY to the point he will irrationally kill them off. Ubuyashiki on the other hand is very grounded and secure in his position. He doesn't think of himself as particularly incredible, but his actions speak louder than words, and as a result, he naturally commands respect and is very secure in his position of leadership. I think this dynamic speaks to the overarching conflict between humanity and immortal demons: what mentality allows us to embrace our humanity and mortality and what mentality breeds greed for power and immortality?

Garry00

Wow. You worded this so amazingly & it is an amazing point!

Peter Amet

They already announced it's the movie. I agree tho especially since let's best thing is the episode analysis and discussion they miss 7 and only do 1 movie now but oh well

Cornelius Ukena

I thought so too but he did mention still wanting feedback in the video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But yeah, I'm going to miss the extra discussion for sure. These episodes start getting so much more dense than the first season.

Peter Amet

Yep, I've been annoyed because the comments say the movie pacing is ruined by the episodes but Episode 1 to 26 has movies, Season 1 had a theatrical movie. People didn't say the movie was better there because it wasn't popular. Mugen train is like anime avatar people just spam it's amazing for x reason. It's really not that good but even if it was there's 2 other theatrical movies and 5 more beyond that nobody mentions yet they claim the episodes ruin the pacing. Nitpicking I guess but hopefully they say this for the next film and stay consistent. Cause the episodes to me are better, the cg issues are fixed, the pacing issues are fixed and they add more from the manga that they skipped, not enough but it helps make the arc less bad imo.

Caitlin E Wilson

Are y’all going to watch the first episode and the movie in the same video? Or wait a week between the two?

Zzuk0here

Wait when is mugen train coming?

H-Bomb 24

Tanjiro's conversation with Kanao is still one of my favorite scenes in the series. 🥰

Malea Probus

I had to pause 9 min in ti mention this, but Montana is doing so well cont cringing, or covering her eyes, or grossing out at this Kibutzugi scene with the lower 5. Taking into consideration just how gory and bloody and just all around creepy it is. In comparison to how her journey first began just the smallest splash/spurt of blood use to have her turning her eyes from the screen. The level of tolerance she has gained definitely doesn't go un-noticed. 😊

Romang

im a little late but i hope yall will be able to find subs where the japanese characters/words in the animation get translated as well! lots of important information gets missed cause crunchy roll doesn't do this for some reason

Sabaje Ninja

You guys should active subtitules because that’s how you can see the number of the demons
