I think you should do this show first. I like MHA more than this and think you will like MHA more than this probably (as Kenny knows) but this is only 12 episodes right now so it's quick. Chainsaw Man also has the most fanservice of any of the shows you are viewing now, easily. However, I am saying this with no irony, I genuinely believe you will love the fanservice in this show. That should be enough to interest you lol Also as far as the endings the songs and animation are different. I'm surprised there was no animation for this first episode. I know that every other episode at least has a new song and animation for the ending credits.

If you really want to mix it up and keep all audiences happy, it may be worth breaking down the 2 anime eps a week to two different anime. One shorter show and one longer one like MHA could be a good compromise too and that gives you up to three shows each week, which is a heck of a variety to choose from.

You are absolutely incorrect. When I say that I think they will love MHA I am referring to Montana. I think she will adore the series and I also think you are wildly exaggerating negative female portrayals in the show. If I thought only Kenny would like it then I would think he should just keep watching it without her like he is already. I already know he likes the series.

I literally turned off the recent season because they had a joke of Big Gum staring up at that large hero's ass. Kenny also is caught up on MHA so there's no more for him to watch without her. However with spoilers so Kenny you can not read the rest of this. There's no way Montana would 'love the fanservice' in this show. Multiple plots revolve around Denji getting it on because he's a horny boy and it's a lot more graphic than a single shot of a character drawn scantily. There's entire scenes of fan service like I can't imagine Montana getting past the toilet. Though I would also love to see that but I know she'd dislike it based on her reactions already to much tamer stuff.

4. Demon Slayer, Owl House and the 2 new anime. I agree and even could add a tier to pay an editor to do MHA and add it as a 5th weekly episode. Youtube would love 5 eps a week (Especially if you posted 2 shorts on the off days, theyd see ur channel as daily Kenny :)

Alright you’ve got several points of nonsense here so let me address each individually. To start, the only way to interpret that Fat Gum and Mt Lady scene in s6 as fan service is to intentionally misinterpret it. He’s shocked and running away because a giant person is about to fall on him. He yells “a big booty!” cause that’s what’s about to land on him and it’s funny. That isn’t even a fan service scene, it’s absurdist comedy. For CSM the main theme of the show centers around Denji in a world he doesn’t understand. The reason I think they will love the “fan service” in CSM is because it is quite different from your standard. It’s very sexual but it actually has a point in the story. I am pretty confident Montana is mature enough to handle that. She probably doesn’t need you defending her honor or whatever and protecting her from the sexual content.

I had held off watching this anime for a while because I assumed it was going to be another run-of-the-mill action/hack-and-slash anime. But I ended up bingeing the entire series in two days because I couldn't stop watching. Even if it's not right away, you guys should absolutely do a reaction to this show; it's brilliant

Just wanted to add a note here, don't be too quick to judge fanservice in CSM. It has sexual content, but it actually handles themes of sexual maturity and manipulative relationships pretty well.

The sexual themes in CSM are very prevalent and are handled better than I’ve seen in any other anime. Denji is very much a character who is slowly learning what it means to be human, with an incomplete, immature idea of what relationships and sex are. But seeing him grow and gradually put together a concept of self is the main draw of CSM. This show will really give Montana a lot of meat to dig into in terms of psychoanalysis. Denji’s journey up Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs is one of the most compelling character arcs I’ve seen in a very long time.

After watching the reaction I am even more excited to see y’all’s take on this show. There is so much to dig into here, the worldbuilding is understated and fascinating, the alternate universe 90’s depicted in this show is a *very* different place because of the presence of Devils. Where the Devils come from and how they interact with the world, how they get their power, how they’re born, it’s all amazing stuff that gets explored over the course of the series and I want to see your predictions!

In terms of quality this is probably the best of the 4, i think code Geass would probably interest you guys most with this coming second, however the adaptation is unfinished and this show could easily have a OPM S2 type failure.

I hope this series wins, its short with only 12 episodes but each one is amazing, the animation, the music, its so well adapted from the manga. I think it handles some themes that a lot of other anime fumble with especially in regards to the relationship dynamics of the characters. It truly feels one of a kind, and that doesn't even touch the surface of what is yet to come once they continue past season 1.

i'm sure someone in the comments has said smth like this already, but i just wanted to say that while csm may come off as a gorey, fan service-y shock factor anime it's so surprisingly nuanced with these elements
