Glad you liked the episode. Tanjiro's empathy is really what drives the show for me. Seeing someone live in a world full of horrible demons but still being able to see the good in them is, idk, sad but heart warming. The ultimate nice guy

What goes through my head is that most reactors deep down know that this show is very childish and it is not a show they would ever like if they were not supposed to like by his subscribers. This anime is one of the most generic I have ever seen, like it was made with no soul, and 99% of its success is because 2 or 3 scenes where animation really shines and because of memes about a muzzled girl. It really bothers me because for the reactors, there is no way avoiding it, because it is what gives more subscribers and views. In reality, most of people who think demon slayer is a great anime, have not watched a lot of anime. Most of them are just teenagers and very early 20s. There is no problem being this age at all, it is just that they have less experience with anime and their recommendations will not be that good, but they are the majority on the polls and etc. Take a look at the less voted anime in recent polls : Vinland Saga and Code geass. Do you know why? Most demon slayer fans doesnt even know anime before 2015. Vinland Saga I don't even know. I guess for the younger audience a show with a good animation of water coming out of a sword is more interesting than a seinen with a much more mature story. There is no way ever that you would choose demon slayer, chainsaw man or jujustu kaisen over something like vinland saga if you are over 25. And for what I have watched from letts react, demon slayer is not the show for them. They should be watching something like monster, not those newer shonen. I don't care if someone will read this and say I have an elitist view, because I spoke no lies at all. Demon slayer is just pure waste of time. Like someone told "just write a generic shonen to fill the shonen jump agenda". Annoying characters, literally no story, very forgettable characters and villains. Very empty experience overall. People force their way to like this show and I am sure many reactors just pretend to like it, specially if it is a more experienced reactor. Again, if someone gets offended or think I am being arrogant because of anything I said here, there is nothing I can do. I am not tripping at all, this whole hype behind demon slayer is just ridiculous.

It's just a fun show to watch not everything has to be a really complex story with 10 out of 10 writing. I will agree with you tho and I have seen code Geass and Vinland saga and both penomenal in there own way. Tho Demon slayer is a shonen which means it's about action and c razy powers and fighting which is what it gives you the story isn't soules it's just not as intricate or deep as others I would say it's mid. Tho I like it for what it is a dumb fun ride that I can just shut my brain off and watch for a good time. So that is my two cents tho I respect your opinion man I like what I like and you like what you like at the end of the day that is what matters ☺️.

All I read is someone butthurt that they didn't get their show reacted to, let them react to what they want without you policing what they should watch. And also, Demon Slayer is a good show with strong story, interesting fights, and colorful characters.

You could have saved a whole lot of time and just said you're mad this got picked over a show you prefer. You have your opinion of DS, which will differ from others. Is it super in depth with crazy intricate plots like death note or FMA? No...but trying to make out that anyone that DOES like it is an idiot or immature is just a dick move.

Episode 10 is really good but honestly Tanjiro and Nezuko can’t hold this show to the legendary status it has on their own regardless how great and essential they are… maybe the future will bring some new members to the cast ;)
