What do you think L will make, if anything, of seeing the strand of Misa’s hair float after Rem moved it?

How long do you think L will hold Misa captive now that she physically won’t be able to confess (not that he knows that)? Do you think his willingness to push the edges of human rights for the sake of catching Kira is more a testament to the severity of the case, his years of investigative success, his character, or something entirely else? Do you think his anonymity and the typically solo, loose-government-sanctioning style of his investigations have something to do with it?

Considering this show's theme around justice, how do you feel about the conditions in which L is keeping Misa? If this were to go to court, do L and the police have enough evidence to justify detaining a suspect like this for so long and trying to coerce a confession?

L has described Light’s ultimate goal of creating an ideal world where no one does anything “wrong” is childish. Do you agree? And do you think that a person’s actions are the only thing that determines their moral fibre? After all, a “good” person might kill another in self defence or in the defence of another, while another person might say and do all the “correct” things but be a cruel and selfish person at heart with no sympathy for others.

Do you think it's strange that Misa was able to avoid capture and make sure her own hair and fingerprints weren't on the Kira tapes for all this time, but now after Light tells her to make a tape she somehow forgets to take those precautions? Do you think that was a mistake on her part, an oversight in the writing, or part of a larger plan?
