What are your thoughts on the lore and implications of King's past from this episode and do you think it will play a role in the overarching story/plot?

This episode did a great job on diving into King as a character, so what are your predictions on how his character arc/development will progress from here?

Throughout the episode we hear about these markings on the island and in the ruins in the Cave. King even noticed this and theorized that it could be his name and carves it on his collar. The episode even ends with the symbol in one of Liliths Polaroids. What are your initial theories on the symbol itself?

Alex Hirsch's voicework on King here was exceptional. He really added gravitas to King's pain. I thought it was a very surprising moment. Was there any other cartoons you've seen that had similar moments that surprised you with their dramatic moments? Personally, I think Adventure Time had a few that really grabbed me.
