Yeah, Kataang was my first ship, before shipping was even a term, and that dance was the first time we got any real indication that Katara was developing feelings for Aang, so it’ll always have a special place in my heart! And them using some bending moves as dance moves was a great touch! Catradora’s was the most tense/intense of the three, and prior to Season 5 it was one of the biggest indicators of their deeper feelings for each other, but it was also the shortest of the dances and it was broken up with partner changes. Lumity’s was incredible because of the animation quality, the fancy dance moves with magic, plus the two of them working together and combining their magics to defeat the monster and create that beautiful tree! And then the reveal right afterwards!

Maybe somebody can comment on this! Two years ago, I though after reading the title and before seeing the episode that GROM would be short form of "gay prom". Is that a common term?

lowkey, Emoji's get a bad rap because they get overused in weird ways, but they are actually a pretty good supplement for tone, something which is consistently hard to parse when reading text based communication. And yes I absolutely use emoji's with my parents. So do they.

I find the emoji discussion super interesting because it's rapidly a way to tell your age too. People of different generations use different emojis and use existing ones in different ways.
