Im not sure why a lot of people complain so much the first half of season one. The only weaker episodes was the switch episode and when Liz and her friends turn small. Everything else it’s well done. Lots of character meetings, some character development and set up for season 2 and 3.

I think this is the first time we get to see Willow's dads too. Love that recent shows for kids are just casually dropping in gay parents for one of the main character adjacent characters, like Bow and now Willow, and that those kids are generally the more mature and well adjusted ones in the friend group too.
