I’m a little late in watching this one, but regarding the toy plane, I always assumed the following: 1. Young Kate and Young Tom bury items in the time capsule (plane is part of that). Probably in the 80s. 2. Adult Kate and Adult Tom dig up the time capsule a couple years before the plane crash. 3. When Kate realizes Tom dies in the car crash, she leaves the toy plane and other items in the car. 4. Mars (the Marshall always chasing Kate), takes the personal effects from the crash and puts them in a safety deposit box. 5. Kate finds out where the personal effects are, including the toy plane, and helps stage a bank robbery to get them. 6. Kate is caught in Sydney, by Mars, and places the personal effects in the Halliburton case. 7. Kate gets the personal effects from the case in “Whatever the Case May Be”. That’s what I always believed regarding the timing of the toy airplane. :-). Love the reactions Lexi!!!
