I'm so glad that you love Kennedy. She gets a lot of hate, but I feel like most of it comes from people not being ready to move on from Tara.

I like Kennedy, more than all of the other potentials. She's the oldest, most mature, and most prepared to fight. I do feel like it was too fast for Willow to move on from Tara. But considering the time this was airing and how pivotal their relationship was for lesbian representation, I think the writers felt they should show Willow still being gay. Like, "See, this wasn't a bury your gays, all gay people end up sad and alone situation, it was just how the plot happened." IMO unnecessary, because on this show the straight relationships never end well, either. But I do think they felt a bit bad about killing half of the best lesbian couple ever. I like that Kennedy is so different from Tara and Oz. And in this ep we learned that she seems much more experienced than Willow in terms of how many girls she has dated. So she possibly isn't really Willow's long-term type, and she may not be aiming for a forever situation anyway. But if she makes Willow happy for now, why not?
