Topher's "The human mind is like Van Halen" probably refers to the rock band Van Halen. They had a lot of band members leaving and others coming in to replace them. Topher's comment implies that their music degenerated over time because of that. I don't really know their music so I wouldn't know. Another good episode. The plot with the baby is very interesting, especially the psychology of both the father and Echo's persona. Even before the wipe that didn't work. It's great to see Madeline/November again. And DeWitt is always great. She's so cool and smart.

This episode is something else. Half of it feels like a dramatic movie on the Lifetime channel. Eliza’s performance breaks my heart because even though Echo isn’t really the baby’s mother her feelings *make* them real to her. Looking forward to the rest of the season!
