Eggs! Sorry, I just had that moment when you recognize an actor from another series and shout that characters name at the TV screen😆. Mechad Brooks, who pops up in lots of genre stuff and guest starred as Sam this episode, also played Benedict "Eggs" Talley in True Blood. I've only seen this series front-to-back a couple of times and it's been quite a while since the last time. I didn't really have a clear recollection of this episode going in but man, what a ride! I enjoyed the hell out of this. Fun and tense at the same time, we got some of our questions answered but like any good plot episode it gave us even more to wonder about. Excited for tomorrow!

Those eggs Paul is frying at the start look terrible. It's like he scrambled them without actually scrambling them. And if it wasn't for Mellie he'd probably have burned them. Actually it's kind of a metaphor for how succcessful he's been in finding the dollhouse: making a mess without much to show for it. "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse" is a quote from The Godfather. I feel like this episode is a bit weaker than usual. It feels like an exposition episode and not much more. Filler, with some laughs and lots of back story but little to drive the story forward. Still enjoyable though, just not a great plot.
