Rm w/a Vu: you were right with "room with a view". The title is based on listing rental units in the newspaper, where you have limited space to describe the unit. The friend Aura: she appeared once in Buffy's pilot. She found the guy Darla killed in the locker. I think she was the only named one besides Harmony, so they bring out the name when they need to reference the group. Angel being darker, killing more "sentient" demons: things are a bit more grey on this show, but if all else fails, fall back on the soul vs. no soul distinction.

To be fair, Angel is only killing Demons who actually do evil things. It is not unusual for Angel to give a warning first, to allow them to stop themselves. He knows the human justice system can't stop them, so he does. As a side effect of stopping their evil actions, their death results. In many cases their deaths are a result of self-defence.
