I love how Rose has known the whole time that Locke is walking now and has just never said anything. She's absolutely one of my favorite characters

Rose is such an underrated character! I know she’s considered a “secondary” character, but I love how the writers gave her and Bernard a backstory!

Rose's behavior directly after the crash all takes on so much more meaning. She knew her sickness had been cured, she saw Locke walking around on the island after she had seen him in a wheelchair at the airport...she knew the Island was special - and that may have given her the faith to know that Bernard was still alive.
