progress report: "Mr. Smock" and "Shorties" (Patreon)

After the last progress report, I'll keep this one shorter (mostly because no devastating setbacks have occurred). 

I've got FIVE (5) video ideas in the works right now. The reason I've got five of them is because four of them ("Shorties") are gonna be very very very very very short, and one of them ("Mr. Smock") is a little long and also I've accidentally made myself have to learn multiple extremely time intensive editing processes in order to create it. 

"Mr. Smock" is completely filmed now and I've already started editing it (you can see screenshots above), but I don't think it'll be done by July. I really want it to give it the editing time it deserves because:

1) It's extremely aesthetically different from anything else I've made.

2) It's my first longform silly video (longform horror is easy, longform silly is hard).

3) It's my first video to include voices from people I respect and don't want to let down. I'll keep who those people are a surprise.

That's one reason why I'm making the shorties! I want to have some videos that are less than a minute long that I can produce quickly! The other reason I want to do shorties is because I loved making them back when I started doing videos, and I want to try going back to that low pressure environment of editing whatever silly idea comes into my mind on the day.

That said, I'll still put effort into the shorties! But the hope is that I can post a couple of them a month while whittling away on the heavier Mr. Smock edit! So expect to see a few shorties in the near future, and then Mr. Smock probably coming out in August!

I said this would be a short one but it ended up being kind of long. Oh well.
