"I wonder if I can be seen."  Yoshi thought.

They walked further in and saw that there was a man with a black cloak with his head on the table, a tankard by his side. He sounded like he was muttering something until he raised it suddenly, shocking Hayato and Yoshi.

"Gentlemen! What led you here?" He had a beard and his face was red with drunkenness'. When he raised it with the momentum, the drinks in the tankard had spilled.

"Uhh, we saw this is an inn. Then we came in." Yoshi said.

"I SEE, I SEE! TELL ME MORE, WHICH WORLD DID YOU TWO CAME FROM?" He shouted again.

"We came from planet Earth-WAIT YOU CAN YOU SEE HIM!?" Hayato was about to say before realizing.

"WAIT YOU CAN SEE ME?!" Yoshi points at himself.

"What's with that reaction? I am a mage, of course I can see both of you. Two heroes from another world, I assume you have come to save this world? Alas you are too late, we are past the point of no return." Shortly as he finished talking, his head slammed back down to the table and began to snore, he apparently had passed out again.

Hayato looked at Yoshi for a reaction as to what exactly he was saying but both of them were equally confused.

"What does he mean by this? Then why are we doing this? And how does he know?" Yoshi asked.

"I MEAN!" The man raised his tankard and head again, all of the drink inside has been spilled out by now.

"GAHHH!" Hayato and Yoshi recoiled back in surprise.

"THAT THESE SORCERESSES AND MAGES HAS TAKEN OVER THE KINGDOMS! THEY HAVE NULLIFIED ALL CONTRACTS TO SUMMON PROTECTORS! " The man drank from nothing.

"THUS THE WORLD HAVE SUMMONED A FUCKING GOBLIN AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN ASTRAL PROJECTION OF A DEAD PERSON!" He drank from nothing again.

"I am a ghost." Yoshi points at himself again.

"SAME THING, I AM JUST EMPLOYING THE CORRECT MAGICAL TERMINOLOGY!" The man shouts again.

"Uh, so what is our purpose?" Hayato continues.

"I DON'T KNOW, WHAT IS ANYONE'S PURPOSE?!" The bearded man points at the sky or the roof of the inn.

"Wow, he's getting real existential there. This guy is really depressed." Yoshi covers his mouth with one hand while with the other pointing at the bearded man with his thumb.

"I CAN HEAR YOU!"

"TELL ME THEN, WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE YOU CAME HERE?"

Hayato and Yoshi both blushed. Hayato finally scratched his head with a silly grin.
