Testing dynamic P1 profile. Maximum aggressive mode of CTR OB (over-boost). Automatic prediction of the maximum stable frequency in a few ms.

Note 1. The difference between frequency at default and HYBRID OC more than 475 MHz(!) at lower voltages(!).

1222 mV @ 4288 4288
1175 mV @ 4775 4600

Note 2. I set P1 profile to a base frequency of 3800MHz, but got 4775MHz for CCX1 and 4600MHz for CCX2.

Note 3. The activation of P1 occurred while the load was present in the system without crash.

Note 4. Dynamic profile can also effectively reduce the frequency so that the system is always stable.

Very nice. Does this autoclocking depending on workload work in programs that change from something like 8 threads to lets say 20 threads on the fly ? Can you log the frequency changes in something like the 720p SotTR benchmark running in windowmode ?

Yes, CTR works very similar to a typical booster, only this booster is higher and more stable. Yes, I will definitely make a video in SOTTR, in games there is an improvement in performance + lowering the CPU temperature (PPT).

Hi I am having issues with ctr 2.1 rc4 Cpu 5900x Mobo Asus b550-A Bios 2003 ... all settings are default and cpu llc is lvl 4 Issue 1: pc will reboot right after diagnosis Issue 2: After tuning p1 / p2 values disappear after reboot even if I press fill & save & activate Please help me .. thx

bios 2003?? Is that a really old bios?

Danut Rotaru

i solved the reboot from diagnostic by disabling PBO in the main tweaker menu of the bios ( b550-F motherboard here but bios and settings should be the same )
