We were NOT prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that we had with this episode!! The wait was worth it! Eren moving forward with the rumbling has caused so much destruction in more ways than one! Seeing everyone's RAW emotions come out throughout this special really was phenomenal and HANGE, don't even get us started!😭 We will never recover!! Witnessing Hange, Armin, Mikasa, Levi, Jean, Connie, Pieck, Annie, Reiner and Onyankopon come together as a united force to stop Eren is just amazing to see and we can not WAIT till Part 2 drops!

Oh don't feel bad at all for crying, I was BAWLING when Hange's death happened. AND I already knew it was coming because I read the manga, but it was still so heartwrenching and beautiful finally animated. And the MUSIC CHOICE?? There is only one other time in the series they played that song, and it was played when Annie was chasing Eren with Levi's team on the horses in the forest, and Petra told Eren to believe in them as a team. Many AoT fans affectionately refer to this song as the "Levi's about to lose some cherished friends" song lol [cry] TT___TT

Soooo heartbreaking!! We did not see that one coming and you knew it was coming and still cried, ughhhh such a heartbreaking yet beautiful way to go out. Ahhh you are right, they did play that same song at that moment! Not the "Levi's about to lose some cherished friends" song 😭😭😭

Awesome reaction guys! Been following yall for the past month or so & the discussion & reactions are on point. This episode (special) was so dang heavy. RIP to the Goat Hange!! 😿All the themes & lessons of the series are coming to a Head! And Mappa did their thing with the animation. I know it sucks to have to wait… but this is going to be one the craziest finales we have ever seen in television, animation, maybe film as well. AoT is solidified as a classic story & more people in this world need to read it ,see it, & learn from it.
