I stepped away from the computer for less than an hour and already have more comments I want to make about this lol One thing that I forgot to mention at the end was 1000% would not make the decision to do the ECT. I don’t think I fully understood what was involved, or what the point of it was. Considering it’s purpose was to make Diana forget, knowing that she would have to relive that pain eventually at some point when she remembers, seems pointless to me. Wow I could go on and on and on about this forever🤣

Wish I Was Here is one of my favorite songs. "Can I hide my stupid hunger, fake some confidence and cheer? Wish I was here" is one of my favorite lines When you said you love throwbacks to other songs, it makes me think you'll love Epic The Musical because that's basically what the whole musical is xD I love this musical so much. I saw this musical first, but my best friend is Bipolar. She always has been careful about me not seeing her worst, but I know how frustrating it is to look for the right medication. She's had highs and lows but she's still a great person and I love her so much. I think Gabe is such a neat character because he's always harmonizing with the characters showing he's not just affecting Diana but Dan and Natalie as well. He's watching Natalie, he's the one who put Diana's purse in front of Natalie which led to her to spiral. He represented the shadow she was in. Dan was in denial of his grief and tried to move on and focus on Diana and helping her but in doing so was distracting himself of his own pain. That's why Gabe was singing to Dan about him not knowing who he was and trying to get his attention, where as he only harmonized with Natalie. Then wIth Diana, he was so many different things. He was real to her and was able to have his own solo songs. I'm Alive kind of explains everything he is. He's her perfect son, he's kind of her lover, he's her trigger, he's her cure. He's such a good character and so well written!! I love this show so much lol Thank you for reacting. I can go hours and hours on this and analyze each character xD

I understand the love you have for your friend regardless of the struggles they have, you're a good friend for that. An ex of mine was bipolar and the low sides can be very scary, especially if you don't understand what's going on, but they don't choose to be like this and need to be accepted for who they are. I think the musical depicts this perfectly. I hope a slime of the London show comes out!
