You're correct about the catch song at the end. it's from the original grease, jan sangs it when the girls are having their sleepover. it was a nice detail. And of course they were going to rigged the votes, they truly don't care. basically saying yeah buddy's future matters more than jane's. The "your hair is brown/you're scared" parallel to the third episode was a very emotional and wholesome scene. The slow understanding on Cynthia's face when they realise that it's not just acting. Both Ari Notartomaso (Cynthia) and Niamh Wilson (Lydia) are queer irl so this scene feels even even more impactful. As for why Cynthia's leave, it's mainly because yeah there is this sudden awareness after the kiss that it was a girl. Susan's is such an intriguing character, "Girls Can't Drive" is also another banger. Same for Hazel with "Finding my Light" and yes that was pretty obvious that she was going to ended up being Juliet but i think that it just make sense the most. see you soon Jessie!!
