Arlong didn´t eat a devil fruit. It would be kinda counterintuitive for a fishmen to eat one, since they couldn´t swim anymore. The teeth thing is just an actual shark thing. They can regrow their teeth. Buggy not being helpful is easily explained. The live action uses Buggy a lot as a plotdevice to move the story along. But in the anime we don´t directly interact with him for a while after we beat him in Orange Town, he had nothing to do with Arlong, so they probably didn´t want to rewrite stuff too much and actually make him participate in the battles. The barrell scene with all of their dreams is so cute! I loved that they cut back to the flashbacks for it. Can´t wait to hear news about season 2, now that the strikes are over, so curious to see who might get cast as certain characters.
