i remember watching this ep and just having anxiety the whole time. everything was just going downhill LOL

as for the gina stuff, the main reason why she was going through with the idea of a pr stunt was because of her mother. its been established in previous seasons but especially this season that she's always trying to please her mother so as a result she doesn't want to risk losing this job that will launch her into stardom and she doesn't want to upset her mother by having ricky as her boyfriend when she was specifically told not to. i hate her mother lol

i actually remember that someone who auditioned for gina showed some of their audition scripts for the pilot and gina actually had scenes with her mother that didn't make it into the actual episode. in the scenes, her mother was very demanding and cold. since they took out those scenes in s1, i assumed that maybe they were going to make her nicer instead but i guess they just wanted to save it for later LOL

I guess we need the lowpoint for the middle of the season, so things can be fixed now. The zombie song was so random but great! I love how all of them are getting pursued by their "love interest" more or less. Ashlyn by Maddox, Kourtney by Jet, Carlos by Seb and while Ricky and Gina are dating, they are kinda mixed up with Dani and Mack, so they are being chased by them. All of that stuff coming out was messy, but atleast Ricky and Gina were kinda ok and made it public that they are together, It just fell apart again because of Gina´s mother. Her mother kinda sucks, I assume she never talked about Ricky because clearly her mom didn´t want her to have boyfriends, it sounded like she disapproved of Gina having a thing with EJ too, might even before the breakup. I hate what they did to Mike. It feels like they dumbed him down a lot, just to make them break up. He didn´t feel that stupid before. The dancer dude showing up and kinda stalking Carlos was so weird and random? And unnecessary? What was the point of that? A joke? I didn´t think that added anything. I´d rather have a normal conversation with Seb without that interruption. Overall the songs were great, but this might be the weakest episode of the season.

Yeah I really did not understand the point of the dancer guy. It would've mad emore sense for us to not have ever found out who the pumpkinwas becuase oOo creppy halloween stuff, but the fact that we know Carlos didn't cheat and then he's just there swooning was kind of odd.
