The biggest thing I appreciate from that Ben scene is how Charlie expressed how Ben hurt him and traumatized him. And while I don´t like Ben, that moment with him turning away from the rainbow and essentially still running away from himself still makes me feel bad for him. I wonder if that was actually it for his character, like he said he was going to be gone, or if he will pop up afterall. Tori is awesome! Next time she should beat David up, or kick him down the stairs along with his phone. I don´t think the dad will change, not sure if you catched that, but he told David he should contact him when he is back in Edinburgh, and David had to correct him that he is actually staying in Glasgow. So their dad doesn´t even care about David either and can´t even remember where he is going to college. Charlie´s issues definitely won´t be wrapped up by next episode. If they did that would just be terrible portrayal of these issues. I feel like they were more comfortable leaving things open for later, since they already knew they have season 3 confirmed. But it´s definitely starting to deal with these more heavy topics, after season 1 was mostly just wholesome and them getting together, and Charlie´s trauma and bullying experience was just very lightly brought up.

It's always suprised me how light hearted this show was, which wasn't a bad thing, but I'm happy they're deciding to take on more heavy topics now that we've grown to know and understand the characters.
