s3 is my favorite season for multiple reasons and i’m not ashamed to admit a major one is that i’m shallow af and think they all look incredible this season. i’m obsessed with justin’s longer hair. justin being pissed at michael for telling brian about the cheating is never gonna sit right with me. say what you want about how brian wasn’t giving him what he wanted but i’m never gonna agree that he pushed him to this. you can always leave. you can always not cheat. end your relationship and you’re free to be with whoever you want. it was the ongoing thing that defeats any argument, so yeah michael shouldn’t involve himself to the extent that he has but telling your friend his boyfriend is cheating on him is not a betrayal. i’m glad they made up by the end though. i would have hated this dynamic going on forever. and now they can continue to work on the comic book. not you thinking brian meant dancing when he meant the comic book as the money making opportunity. remember he’s been trying to get michael to make up with him over it. he may not know about the potential sexual assault but he would never tell justin to go back to dancing for that creep regardless. he’s the one who tried to get him out of it in the first place. the dialogue from the movie brian was watching and mouthing seemed symbolic of the current situation. him continuing to pay for his schooling and giving him the computer he got for him to draw with always makes me smile. good for him. daphne’s lack of enthusiasm regarding ethan is my favorite. she’s not a fan. i may not be either but try to not read into our opinions on him like you did with david. mainly i just can’t stand his vibe. speaking of ethan, i don’t think he disliked jennifer. i can’t really get a good read on him in the scene but things seemed fine? nothing really stood out as bad. i cackled at you asking if ethan had rubbed off on justin with the “it’s genius and you know it” lol he’s so pretentious. ugh seeing justin’s dad again was not fun. that man will forever piss me off. i still wonder if he even visited him after the bashing. he didn’t seem to be around. justin’s speech to him was everything. he really has grown into himself and i love that for him. that last ted and emmett scene always makes me teary. i hate seeing emmett cry but i’m glad ted was understanding as his best friend and eventually his lover.

I definitely agree that telling your friend his boyfriend is cheating on him is not a betrayal, hell I'd think you were a bad friend if you didn't say anything! But in regards to the cheating, I think it's just a teenager making dumb mistakes. Bad mistakes that he will learn from and grow hopefully, but a mistake none the less. I criticize Brian more when he makes a mistake because he's over a decade older than Justin and should no better by now. Like if Justin was 30 and cheated I honestly wouldn't even want them back together!
