'Til Death- Thank you so much for another fun reaction for Person of Interest, Jessie! I enjoy this episode, even though I do definitely consider one of the weakest episodes of this show all together like most viewers. And yet I still really enjoy this episode, nonetheless. Because I am absolutely entertained by the ridiculousness in seeing this couple whom our heroes are fighting to protect, realize that they are still in love with one another, despite them both hiring a hitman to kill each other. And I just love seeing the humor written into this show, in spite of the dangerous and very serious situations our heroes are putting themselves in day in and day out in order to protect the people whose numbers come up. The humor is a part of this show's charm. I love it! Especially the banter between Reese and Finch, as well as between Reese and Fusco. Or rather... Mr. Happy, as Fusco likes to call Reese. :) Now... I really like the twist that the two numbers that come up are husband and wife, and that they are both the victims and perpetrators due to them putting a hit out on each other. However, I do kind of both love and hate that they are seen to suddenly be so in love again by the end, just because it is so incredibly ridiculous. Entertaining for sure, but ridiculous. I know I would certainly never be able to trust someone ever again if they tried to kill me. Even if I loved this person. Or if I tried to have them killed too. The trust would be completely gone. Nonetheless... All of this certainly does make for some good comedy throughout this episode. And yes... Love is certainly a mystery and can be full of surprises. As for the actor, Mark Pellegrino who plays the husband... He's in pretty much everything. I've seen him in so many shows. Other than in Lost and Supernatural, I've never watched Lost, but he and a number of guest starring actors throughout all of Person of Interest are also in Lost too. I'm sure you have seen Mark Pellegrino in other shows and movies too. I know him mostly from Supernatural as Lucifer, and from the US version of a show I love, titled... Being Human. And you will definitely be seeing him again in other shows. He pops up everywhere. But I like the actor. He just creeps me out because of two biggest roles I've seen of his where he plays an incredibly creepy bad guy in both shows. I mean... He plays a very evil and creepy version of the Devil in Supernatural. Enough said. As for Fusco's storyline in trying to have a private life outside of the craziness... I really love seeing him dating, and his girlfriend is really sweet. I like Rhonda a lot. They're cute together. And his banter with Reese upon Reese discovering he's trying to have a life outside of their work together, is hilarious! And yes... Sterling K. Brown is another great actor, and a great addition to this show!! And his character, Detective Cal Beecher, is a really sweet guy. You will definitely be seeing him again. I love that Cal Beecher is a great possible prospect for Carter! He seems like a perfect man for her. And she looks really happy that he asks her out too. And lastly... I absolutely love the backstory between Finch and Grace throughout this episode. They are adorable together, and I love seeing Finch so, so happy. Because he really doesn't genuinely smile too often. Reese and Bear are really the only ones that can make him smile from time to time. Just like we see Reese make Finch smile in this episode when they talk about baseball, and he listens with pleasure to Reese's attempts to learn more about him and where he grew up simply from trying to figure out Finch's favorite baseball team. Which was a fantastic moment between my two favorite characters throughout this show! I love them! And of course... I just absolutely love that the actors who play Finch and Grace... Michael Emerson and Carrie Preston, are really married in real life. Just like Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas in Once Upon a Time are also married in real life too! So beautiful! Thank you so much again, Jessie! Until more Person of Interest... Sincerely, Heidi
