Paul´s wife wasn´t scared because he is an 828er. As a reminder. He was an abuser and when the plane came back she went into hiding because she was scared of him. Paul was one of the people that got experimented on by the Major and was the only person to wake up from it, when Michaela touched him. I think that was very shortly before Zeke got introduced. So the comparisons between him and Angelina kinda work, I think. Not quite the same, but both suck. Autumn is more like Eagan than Angelina, just a conwoman. The only point that really didn´t fit in my opinion was Astrid´s anxiety. I´m surprised they didn´t just kill them either. I guess because they still have human rights... sort of? I really like this dynamic between the passengers and that they are kinda a makeshift family now, since they lived with each other for ~ a year now.

If things seem rushed, it's probably because it technically is. The creator mentioned that he had an overarching 6 season plan. If the 13 episode seasons of S2-3 had continued, then that's ideas for 39 episodes for 3 full seasons that have to be condensed into one 20 episode season.
