“i can’t, i got it off A BLANKET!” THE LINE DELIVERY!!! ted and michael cracked me up this episode omg I could not stop laughing. finally the wedding! i cried at the the vows. the whole thing was so beautiful and everything melanie and lindsay deserved. weddings on tv are always a disaster that need to be fixed last minute which can get exhausting but this was a fun one to watch. i love that mel went to brian of all people about the wedding being off. he may bitch and moan about things but he will always come through for the people he loves when it really matters. i waffle constantly on how i feel about lindsay’s speech to brian at the end. he was gonna go to the wedding and give them a great honeymoon gift and he seemed so sincere when he handed the tickets over but she shut him down. she wanted him to go on the trip instead and be happy and himself and i get that but it also kinda feels weird. like his friends put so much stock into the brian kinney persona that he exudes that they don’t always see that he is a human being that is capable of change and growth. he can celebrate his friends’ wedding because it’s important to them regardless of his own beliefs yet that scene kinda felt like she thought he shouldn’t. idk it’s hard to explain and i’m sure no harm was meant but something about it has always bugged me. i’m also really glad justin decided to stay for the wedding. being a part of it all with his found family was more important than going away on a fun trip with brian. but it also plays into my earlier point, if justin was allowed to change his mind, it kinda sucks that the narrative didn’t allow brian to do the same even though he offered so sincerely. and i agree i don’t think he looked particularly happy at the white party.

I get what you're saying about Lindsey. I was a little surprised that she told him to go too, but I think it was because he flat out told her he would unknowingly sabotage it which even if he tried not to he probably would have LOL But you do need to give people room and chances to change otherwise it will never happen, I wish he stayed!
