Arthur´s and Merlin´s banter is great! One of the best things about this show. I love their dynamic. Uther kissing the troll was gross, but he still deserved that to happen. But one interesting thing this episode showed. Uther is, despite his many... MANY flaws, a decent king for his people, when magic isn´t involved. He cares for his subjects and doesn´t starve them. Being enchanted by the troll showed us that he could be much worse.

I feel like Arthur prevents him from being worse a lot though. Like I think just his love alone for Arthur even though he rarely shows it plays a huge factor in his decision making.
