2023-04-16 02:45:44 “you’re the one who should be dying instead of me” ugh how dare anyone say that especially to their kid and it’s depressing that it’s a reality for so many people. i agree that brian did the right thing for himself so he doesn’t have to live with the regret of never telling him but the fact that that was the response hurts. this episode perfectly demonstrates my biggest issue with david - he’s kinda controlling with the people in his life. i don’t think being a control freak is always a bad thing and he does mean well but i feel like everything has to be done his way or he gets passive aggressive. like he’s a good guy and he’s nice but he rubs me the wrong way sometimes. it was sweet that hank connected with michael over comic books. he really is just a kid at heart. proud of ted for getting out of his comfort zone and trying something new. i think him being consistent and reliable is great and he shouldn’t change for anyone but himself but he did seem curious so i’m glad he tried it. if it’s for him, great, if it’s not, at least now he knows.

It was great to learn even more about Brian and how he became who he is.
