Identity Crisis- Thank you so much once again for another fantastic reaction, Jessie! This is another brilliant episode! They all are, really. :) And yes... Finch is hilarious upon him becoming drugged by the imposter. All thanks to Michael Emerson, who really is a brilliant actor. I've seen him in a few other roles outside of Person of Interest, and he's always very good. Whether he plays a good guy like Finch, or a bad guy like I've learned he is in the show... Lost, which I know you love. I wish I could get into Lost, but the few episodes I have watched, were very bizarre and too confusing for my taste. I can't get myself interested in the show at all. Despite so many people really loving it. But back to this episode of Person of Interest... I love it! I love Reese and Finch throughout this episode. As well as Fusco too of course. And while I always love Carter too, and I do completely understand her need to distance herself from Reese and Finch due to the events from the previous episode... Baby Blue, I am sad that she's choosing to ignore them completely. And yet... Now Donnelly with the FBI is back once again and has heightened his desire to find the "Man in the Suit" ever since Reese stole the suspect they were after from their custody in a previous episode... Root Cause. Which is not good for Reese. Yes... Carter may be upset with Reese and Finch right now, and rightly so. However, she knows for a certainty that Reese is a good man trying very hard to save people. She knows he's a good man, and there's no way she would ever betray him and let Donnelly catch him with information given to him by her. Especially after she already betrayed Reese once by nearly getting him killed because she turned him over to Snow back in the episode, titled... Number Crunch. And I love her for it. I love the team's mission to find the real Jordan Hester so they can save him from the imposter who despicably stole his identity. I really enjoy the real Jordan Hester's character, as well as the young man who had been imprisoned by the same woman a year earlier when she had stolen his identity and destroyed his life as well. And I feel so badly for him. Which makes me love Fusco all the more throughout this episode because he works hard to save this kid too. I love it! And I love seeing Reese and the real Jordan appear before the imposter in the end to take her down once and for all. So satisfying. And I love and appreciate the real Jordan for thanking Reese for giving him his life back, such as he does. Seeing Finch high on the ecstasy is hilarious, and I love these scenes with him, especially when he's talking with Reese over the coms, and with Fusco inside the apartment and his police car. Nonetheless... My favorite moment within this episode comes in the end, when Finch gives Reese every opportunity to ask him all the questions Reese has been wanting to know about Finch, and yet Reese respects his privacy and their friendship, as he walks away to watch over him from a distance. This really shows the heart of John Reese's character. And I love him all the more for this. And then... We hear Finch suddenly call Reese Nathan after Reese is already out of sight. And as we know... Nathan is the name of Finch's best friend whom we have seen in the flashbacks within a few of the previous episodes. Upon Finch seeing Nathan in place of Reese, this is meant to make us believe that perhaps Nathan might have been more involved in their work than just as one of the Machine's founders and creators. He might have even worked to help save people whose numbers came up, just like Reese does now and has done for some time now. And this is just fantastic! I always love learning more about Finch's past involving Nathan, and learning more about his friend we know little to nothing about just yet. Thank you once more, Jessie! I am loving your reactions, and I am so happy you're continuing to love Person of Interest! And I truly appreciate you. You're marvelous, dear friend. :) Thank you! Sincerely, Heidi
