i finished the series the other day, so i can give you all the info without spoilers, because this had me so confused lol. with the change in format, the different actors, and the ending i thought that this show had been based on real events and we just didn’t know. turns out that the serial killer storyline is made up, but throughout the series there are many nods to beyoncé. in this episode, anytime there’s a bleeped name where, in our story with dre, the name would be ni’jah, the actors are saying beyoncé. there are also nods to her album “lemonade” (ni’jah’s being festival), the “competition” between her and her sister, and there is even truth to the whole bitting thing and as we see the spoof of the ellen show in episode 5, that is supposed to resemble and ellen interview with john legend about the incident, which I had no idea about! so no, our story with dre is not a true story, just a super unique way of expanding it while including small details of reality!!

That's all SO crazy!! I saw there are some videos about all of the Easter eggs that are in it and what some of the inspiration is from, I'm going to react to one next week!
