what an episode! an intense one for sure. yes that was a cat on marcus’ shirt! he has this hoodie with cats all over it that i’m obsessed with. he wore it last episode under his jacket in the “do it for ginny” scene. he wears it again in s2 and you can see it better. i love all of his fun shirts (and socks!!!) esp in s2. ZION!!! talk about a gorgeous gorgeous man. he’s also just really great. i feel like he really adds something to the show. also i can’t help but love him and georgia too. their dynamic is so interesting. literally i love her with joe, paul AND zion. it’s a problem. it does suck that they both promised ginny that nothing was gonna happen between them and then they went ahead and did it anyway. abby being so alone and upset and trying to reach out to her friends but them being too busy hurt. i’m glad they were able to kinda talk it out later though even if that whole scene was chaotic af. oh god the oppression olympics scene will always make me cringe. season 1 of this show made me cringe so much. i think it gets so much better about things in s2. that ending scene hurts every time. i know ginny is just lashing out because she’s upset and everything that’s happened has piled up and he saw her about to self harm and her feelings are all over the place but ouch. she went on the attack when he was most vulnerable. she had to unleash her pain somehow since she couldn’t through burning and it kinda resulted in him self-harming in his own way. just pain all around for these poor kids.

Also that scene with Hunter and Ginny going back and forth was a big cringe for me . Sort of like who has it worse, I've had someone ask me do I give privilege since I'm light skin one time. There's the whole thing with if you're darker you had it worse if you're lighter you had a better life which is most definitely true darker skin people do get treated worse however I don't think Ginny should dismiss Hunter's struggles either everyone struggles in my opinion. And I agree with you Ginny shouldn't have said that and Hunter shouldn't have said but like you said Hunter has never been so real he kept smiling and acting so blase the entire time I am glad he's finally showing more of his personality.
