About your comments with Ari and Samu. I think Ari is coping with partying and drugs, which isn´t healthy but I get it. And I think Samu could do the same thing in her situation. Maybe not to that extent. But he definitely wouldn´t be drowning in medical bills. Remember, they are in europe! We have good healthcare unlike the hell that is the US. Phillipe is so... Urgh. Caye is a fucking saint for even trying to help him. In her situation I would have probably plotted to murder him instead. Mencia WAS there for Rebe! But then she saw Rebe kiss another girl. Boohoo Mencia, cry about it. She is single and can do what she wants. But because she was "hurt" by that she didn´t approach her and instead tried to leave with Ari. I feel bad for Patrick, he is falling back into the same behaviour and I hope by the end of the season he gets out of that. I think you can be "straight" and experiment. Like trying to kiss the same gender, but if you liked it you are atleast a little bit bi. But Ivan is definitely atleast bi. I´m getting a bit frustrated by his behaviour. Can we just get to him accepting that already? We all know he and Patrick will be a thing right? Potentially a serious relationship even. And I think Ivan would be great to ground Patrick a bit. Because of his party obsessed father Ivan is really responsible and seems like a calm presence which Patrick kinda needs. I remember a criticism for season 4 and 5 is how much they increased the sexual scenes. And I kinda agree. I think this party is fine because Benjamin´s rules are really repressing them, but also in season 4 they had so much sex. And I think it might get a bit much, even for "tv show teenager" standards.

LOL Very true! But he would still have the stress of bills in general which is clearly something Ari doesn't have to worry about. I just feel like Ari, Patrick and Mencia have the luxury of being able to act out comfortably, as where Sam can't do that because he would literally become homeless. I think that's a big part of why he's trying not to and Ari is so carefree about it. Ugh Phillipe. I'm not even going to rant lol I thought Mencia was there for Rebe at first, but them she said to Ari dad told me to come get you. Maybe she said that as a cover because she felt foolish after seeing Rebe with that girl? I agree that you can be straight and experiment, but yeah that's def not what Ivan is doing and it;s messed up! He's making it look like this si all a game and I hope he figures it out soon too because if he doesn't then he needs to stop toying with Patrick while he does. I don't have a problem with the sex scenes, I do think some of them don't have to go on as long as they do though. If the point and emotion is conveyed then the scene has done it;s job and you move on to the next. I have noticed that some of the scenes are like ooooook I get it lol I think they're trying to be too edgy and it's messing with the quality of content overall.

I wrote a whole rant and then closed the tab -.- Short version, this was when I realized for sure I'd hate this season. The professional counselor calls Phillipe's behavior impetuous and Caye, the girl he almost raped, has to point out it's predatory. And then the show honestly does the "Well it's because he was drunk, you see, so let's say the problem lies with the alcohol!" My problem is 1) what an asshole Phillipe is, and 2) how the writers are on his side (evidenced IMO when they have Caye also saying the stuff about the alcohol and how he's not himself when he drinks or whatever). ETA: Oh yeah and the flashforwards make zero sense most of the time :D

Omg I've done hat so many times and hate when that happens lol Yes!! Idk if they were in a rush to replace the writers or got fooled by subtle plot lines, but I'm SO glad these people were gone for season 6.
