I wanted to mention the audio for a long time but kept forgetting. Specifically for Netflix it was very unbalanced for a while and you are usually kinda drowned out by the shows. After you adjusted it here it was ok, although personally I would still increase your volume a bit. This wasn´t as bad as I remember, but there are still many things that annoy me. This will turn into a rant about a show based on a children girly cartoon, and I´m sorry in advance. Adaptation changes! Of course those don´t have to be bad. But most of them are, to me personally atleast. First of all, everyone is kinda mean? And I don´t like the group dynamic of the girls so far. In the original everyone was way more pleasant. For example Stella is a bit shallow, but not a mean girl at all in the cartoon. Terra is a new addition, and I like her, but I wonder why they created her? She replaces a character who apparently now is her cousin, Flora, who is Latina. So why not just have Flora in the first place? Musa originally was a music fairy instead of an empath, but I guess they didn´t know what to do with that. Oh and she used to be asian, but for some reason now she is white. Similarly another character was completely removed. There was a technology fairy, Tecna, but again, I guess they didn´t know what to do with technology powers. All the fairies had wings, which would have been cool, but it´s probably budget reasons that they just removed them. They are obviously trying to age things up, with "creepy" monster and drinking and drugs etc. But it feels a bit try hard? I´m especially not a fan of the "Burned Ones" they are basically just burned human shaped figures and they aren´t really interesting to me. But to mention a nice change, in the original fairies were exclusively female while specialists were exclusively male. While now everyone can be any gender which is nice. Specialists are by the way people that live in that world but they don´t have magic, so they are just skilled warriors. If you are ever bored, the original cartoon got something like.. 8 seasons? and I think a few movies, if you ever feel like checking out the source material for this.

Interesting changes! I def want to check out the cartoon, but maybe after I finish this as I feel like maybe I am enjoying it so much because I don't know the original material lol

I used to watch this as a little girl all the time, I've been putting off watching this as I thought they may ruin it...so far it feels a bit Riverdale with Harry Potter not sure just yet...I don't like how mean Stella is that's not like her at all...I get it though its an adaptation. I grew up with Aisha being called Layla so she'll always be Layla to me LOL
