I keep going back and forth which one I prefer. But they are both great for different reasons. As for the cameos, you noticed Taki. There were also the 2 best friends at the first sunshine job at the fleamarket. And the girl that sold the ring was Mitsuha. By the way, poor Mitsuha, she survived a meteor crashing into her town, moved to Tokyo, and Tokyo gets flooded. I´m not sure if it´s justifiable to save Hina in exchange for an entire town getting submerged. But I definitely get the decision. I think the police was so annoying. They were way too harsh for a simple runaway case. Also I´m not sure why it would count as "kidnapping" to help someone who ran away. While we never learn anything explicit about the reasons he ran away we see in the flashbacks from the island that his face has some red marks, implying that he got hit. So we can kinda speculate that there might be some family issues. I didn´t know about She and Her Cat. I might check that out lol. Glad you enjoyed it, looking forward to the next one in a few months.

Mitsuha may be the cause of all this bad luck!! lol I really thought they were both still going to be saved, her and the town, but when they had they reunite I was like OH ok lol
